Based in Knoxville, Tennessee, douglas-damewood creative group began as Tape-It! Video Productions in 1985, back when video really did use “tape” exclusively for recording and mastering.

Concentrating our efforts on corporate training and promotion, we established productive business relationships with clientele throughout the Eastern US – names like Comco. . .Mark Andy. . .Avery-Dennison. . .Coachmen Industries. . .and many others.  We worked with America’s Stonehenge, considered the oldest “megalithic” archaeological site in North America, in producing the documentary “Puzzles In Stone”.  The Greene County, Tennessee Heritage Trust retained us to work on a docudrama on the life of President and favorite son Andrew Johnson. Both productions would ultimately make their way to the History Channel.

In 2012, we changed our name to “douglas-damewood creative group,” reflecting a new partnership with my wife Patricia, noted in the East Tennessee area for her real estate photography services, as we expanded our line of production services in photography, DVD and CD duplication, and design/print. Today, we serve some equally exceptional folks at Campbellsville University, Tractor Supply Company, and Homes and Land Magazine, where we work with realtors throughout the Knoxville, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg markets to produce promotionals for real estate sales and vacation cabin rental videos.

It is my goal to help you sell your product, promote safety, or help a new employee settle in, by working with you to produce a good quality production at an affordable investment. Give me a call at 1-800-332-6121, or drop me a note at alan@tapeitvideo.com, and let’s get to know each other.
